Gannon Staunch was last seen at his home in Colorado Springs, CO on January 27, 2020. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans, and tennis shoes.
He is an 11-year-old, brown eye, brown hair, white male weighing 90 lbs and standing 4'9."
Video surveillance from a neighbors home shows the Staunch getting in a truck with his step-mother Letecia Stauch on the day of his disappearance but not returning with her that same day.
She went on to say that she took a selfie with Gannon that is time-stamped after they got back.
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office now believes Letecia Stauch is responsible for killing her 11-year-old stepson.
After being arrested on Wednesday, Letecia slipped out of her handcuffs in the back of her transport vehicle from South Carolina to Colorado and reportedly attacked a deputy. According to sources, that deputy was taken to the hospital with injuries. That's why her transport was suddenly stopped and that's why Letecia was jailed in Kansas for about 12 hours.
Stauch is facing charges of first-degree murder, child abuse resulting in death, tampering with a deceased body and tampering with evidence.

" I am calling on the Greenwrich, New York Police Department to reopen Jaliek Rainwaler's case. There are key similarities between Staunch's disappearance and Jaliek's. Both were last seen with individuals who were not related to them who claim that just disappeared. In that the Colorado Springs, CO police were able to bring charges against Laticia Stauch without a body, I am very hopeful that the Greenwich, New York Police Department will be able to do the same thing in connection with Stephen Burell Kerr because they had a lot of time to build a case against him. The time to act is now," says Chief Missing Persons Investigative Reporter Joseph Bonner.
Jaliek was last seen at a home belonging to his adoptive father's parents in the 10 block of Hill Street in Greenwich, New York on November 1, 2007. His adoptive father, Stephen Burrell Kerr, admits to spending the night alone in the house.
According to Kerr, Jaliek disappeared during the night and has never been heard from again. However, video surveillance in the area shows Kerr's car traveling multiple times on the roads in the area throughout the night, at a time when Kerr claimed to be at home.
