The Battle of the Airlines Gives Birth to reduced "Basic Economy" Fairs

Basic Economy is now a "thing" at United, Delta, and American Airlines.

Basic Economy fairs are around 30 dollars cheaper than regular fairs but come with certain restrictions depending on the airlines.

The larger carriers adopted this initiative in an effort to compete with bottom line pricing from some of their cheaper competitors.
