Reading the Bible May Become Illegal in Russia on April 5th

Reading the Bible May Become Illegal in Russia on April 5th, BREAKING, NEWS, RUSSIA

Freedom of Religion is under severe attack in Russia a could set the country back some 20 years if the Russian Supreme Court and President Putin don't act quickly to set things right.

Under the guise of extreme terrorism, the Russia’s Ministry of Justice filed a claim with the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation to label the Administrative Center of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Russia as extremist and liquidate it.

If the Russian Supreme Court upholds the decision on April 5th, this would possibly make reading the most accurate translation of the bible illegal in that country, according to experts.

This will have international consequences for Russian in a few different ways.

Impact on Tourism & Economy

Tourist would need to be on high alert when entering Russia for fear that would be discriminate against and placed in prison for practicing their faith. If the peaceable Jehovah's Witnesses get thrown into prison for reading the bible, no Christian, Mulsim or Buddist would rightly feel comfortable visiting Russia for fear of being labeled extremist and or terrorist and receive perhaps worst treatment.

This would have a devastating impact on the Russian economy who relies on many countries for outside goods and services. Counties would no doubt be extremely reluctant to do business with Russia, for fear their relationship with Russia could have a disastrous impact on their own economy due to sanctions from the international community who unanimously uphold 'Freedom of Religion throughout the European Union and the United Nations.

Prison for Children and Grandparents for Carrying a Bible

If the Russian Supreme Court labels the Administrative Center of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Russia as extremist and liquidates it, this could come with legal consequences for anyone carrying or reading the most accurate translation of the bible. Children and grandparents could be charged, prosecuted and thrown into prison just for possessing the bible.
