Teen Who Shot Himself on Instagram Live Allegedly Exchanged His iPhone For A Gun Days Earlier

The teen who accidently took his own life while streaming live on Instagram allegedly exchanged his iPhone for the gun days before the shooting, according to reports.
After logging on to Instagram Live, he apparently tried to put the clip in properly when the gun went off, critically injuring him.
Malachi Hemphill died some 30 minutes after arriving at the hospital, and according to Shantirca Bankston, Malachi's God Mother, he fought for his life to the end.
The message the family want's to get out to the community and to other youths is simple yet profound, 'If you see something, say something."
Malachi Hemphill was described by his God Mother Shantirca Bankston as your typical teen. He loved basketball, dancing and he especially loved his mom and sister.
