Black Hat Hackers VS White Hat Hackers

When we hear the word “hacker”, the great majority of us automatically paint a picture of a person sitting on a chair or couch in front of multiple computer monitors trying to access your private information such as bank account information, credit card numbers, social security numbers, etc. However, while there are hackers who are actually living up to the reputation of thieves (Black Hat Hackers), there are also those who are helping large-scale corporations build network infrastructure defense systems to protect customers and their own personal information (White Hat Hackers) against Black Hat pirates. They do it by finding loopholes in their network protection and exploit them. Only by doing so they can tell the corporations what the problem is and how to protect themselves against them.
