Wandering toddler found covered in feces

Officers received reports of a 3-year old wandering around a gas station in Norman, Oklahoma. Sources said the boy was seen wondering twice in the same day when the police was called. Reports said that the boy was wearing no pants, underwear, shoes, and he was covered in feces. When police learned where the boy lived, they decided to knock on the door of the second floor apartment to confront the mother. When the mother -identified as Kimberly Dye- answered, the officers could perceive a pungent odor and the inside of the apartment was described as “deplorable” and “horrid” by police. The mother is now being charged with neglect and a warrant is out for her arrest. The boy was taken into protective custody by DHS.
