Ubers taxi license has been rejected in Brighton and Hove
Council in the UK had decided not to renew Uber's license in on the basis of concerns related to a 2016 data breach that affected some 2.7 million users of the app.
In addition, the Council stated that Uber has not abided by the Blue Book guidelines to only use Brighton and Hove licensed drivers, and is putting UK citizens at risk.
Uber plans on appealing the decision.
