SpaceX signs it's first passenger to space

Ever since SpaceX announced that it wanted to take private citizens into a trip around the moon back in 2017, the world has been filed with speculation on how and when. Elon Musk, SpaceX’s COO, announced Thursday that they had already signed up one passenger to take on the next mission, in which they will be using the Big Falcon Rocket, or BFR – a rocket with an exact design not yet made public.

SpaceX also said called this step in a recent tweet “an important step toward enabling access for everyday people who dream of traveling to space."

Musk said they will announce who the passenger is on Monday.
