A woman attacks children in a China kindergarten

Last Friday, a woman was arrested for attacking kindergarten students with a knife in southwest China. According to police, this happened in the Banan district of the city of Chongqing at around 9:30 a.m. Though she was stopped by school officials, she was able to injure 14 kids.

All children were sent to the hospital for treatment. The woman attacker was identified as 39-year-old Liu. Due to tight gun regulations in China, mass stabbings are not uncommon. It is for that reason that schools have beefed up their security and training on how to prevent and handle situations like these.
