Nurses in France say they are told to turning away family of patients on their death bed

Due to major understaffing and an influx of COVID-19 patients, a nurse named Leslie spoke on how her hospital is severely cutting back visiting hours. A decision that separates some terminally ill patients from their families during their final hours alive, France 24 reports. According to Leslie, nurses are given one mask to wear per day, when typically they should be changed every few hours, according to her. She also shared an experience of being exposed to a possible COVID-19 patient without any medical protection. This situation in France is a grim reminder that the fight against the notorious coronavirus is far from over.
