Columnist of the Valley River Time Suggest Black Men Should Have Curfews following Stephon Clark Killing

The Valley River Times article written by Marcia Courson suggested that suggested that black men have curfews.

In the column, she specifically writes, "we must not immediately assume a policeman has no reason to confront a suspect," "In Stephon's situation, the cell phone looked like a small black gun," "Police have to be careful not to overreact, and you black men might be better off at home after a certain hour."

The general manager, David Herburger has since apologized for the article.
