Man pulls a gun after he couldn’t get tickets for Ice Cube performance

A man wanting to purchase tickets to an Ice Cube performance pulled a gun out after he was told the event was ‘sold-out’ and no tickets were available. This happened on the Del Mar race track ’s ‘VIP’ tent around 6:30 pm, this past Sunday. Video taken by bystanders shows deputies giving CPR to the suspect after he was shot by police. The man, identified as Daniel Elizarraras, was taken to Scrips Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. The live performance went on as scheduled. Ice Cube responded to this event through a tweet: “Come see ya homie Cube…but leave the strap at home.”
