Obsessive-compulsive disorder is defined by irrational thoughts and anxieties (obsessions) that lead to compulsive reactions.
OCD oftentimes focuses on issues such as a fear of germs or the need to organize things in a particular fashion. Signs customarily begin slowly and fluctuate throughout life.
Coping Methods:
Write down 5 reasons why your feelings or thoughts are irrational
Set one goal each week to help you fight your obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Engage in an online support group. You will find weekly encouragement in remembering that you are not alone.
Confide in a trusted friend weekly to talk through your emotional up's and downs.
Exercise regularly to help re-channel energies and help relieve mental and emotional stress.
